Volunteer

Our Volunteers Make A Difference!

You can help adults with developmental disabilities by joining the volunteer team at ARI of Connecticut, Inc. We rely on our many volunteers to enhance the quality of the lives of the people we serve.

There are many volunteer opportunities available during the day, evening or on weekends. Flexible hours make volunteering convenient and fun!

Making a commitment to volunteer is based on your schedule and availability. Volunteering can be a weekly activity or done once a year at a special event such as a party, dinner outing or the Special Olympics. ARI also relies on volunteer groups to help keep our facilities up to date by painting, cleaning, and landscaping.

All you need is a caring and dedicated attitude to help others. Call us to see how you can help an individual lead a more fulfilling life.

Other Ways To Help?

Can't Volunteer? Here's How You Can Still Contribute to ARI

Consider Leaving a Legacy to ARI

Another wonderful way you can support ARI is to remember us in your will.  You can continue to help ARI, even after you’re gone. We will be happy to provide information on ways to do this and possible ways to help such as:

  • Purchase a life insurance policy and name ARI as a beneficiary.
  • Remember your loved ones with a charitable gift to ARI – in their honor.
  • Name ARI as the beneficiary of your pension plan or IRA.

Discuss with your tax advisor the advantages you can enjoy now by leaving a gift to ARI or other charity that you would like to support.

Please feel free to call Susanne Kuligowski at 203-324-9258 ext. 3028 or e-mail Susanne at [email protected]
