Recreation Services

Recreation Services encourages personal growth and builds relationships through involvement in a variety of social events, classes, and physical activities. 

Supported activities include the ARI Artists Initiative Classes, Aqua-Aerobics, Dinner Dances, Vacations, Bocce, Trips to Watch Local Sporting Events including the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Monthly Dinners, and much more.  Members of ARI participate in community recreational groups including Challenged People in Motion Golf, Darien YMCA Funbusters, Special Olympics (including swimming, snow shoeing, bowling, and track & field), and much more.   ARI also facilitates vacations including overnight stays at nearby destinations and week long vacations.

ARI Artists’ Initiative Classes will take place on Wednesday, October 14th and 28th from 4:00-5:30pm. Draw with friends and show off your artwork. Must RSVP by Friday, October 9th and October 23rd to receive art supplies.

Join us for an ARI Happy Hour on Thursday, October 8th from 7:00-8:00pm. Catch up with friends and chat about current events.

Join us for Bingo on Tuesday, October 20th from 4:00-6:00pm. Play your favorite game with friends. Must RSVP by Tuesday, October 13th to ensure that you receive a bingo card.

Join us for the ARI Fall Call on Friday, October 23rd from 6:00-8:00pm. See attached flyer for more information. A ZOOM link will be sent out to all to participate.
