Annual Walk for Independence

The 18th Annual Walk for Independence took place on Sunday, April 28th at Cove Island Park in Stamford at 10:00am. This year over 300 people attended the walk including individuals at ARI and the Stamford Community. This year we honored the volunteer clowns from the Stamford Health HAHAs (Health & Humor Associates) and Valerie Cadman for their many years of dedication to the Walk. We thank them for this service.

We thank our sponsors, in-kind donors and volunteers that helped make this one of the most successful Walks to date. Mayor Caroline Simmons, State Reps Matt Blumenthal and Rachel Khanna were in attendance along with the Stamford Police who led the walk, Mascots from Hi 4! Entertainment, Clowns from the Stamford Health HAHAs, Dance with El for the warm-up and our Tattoo artist Laura Beddini.
