A Day in the Sun, on Saturday, September 30th, provides opportunities for people with disabilities and community volunteers to socialize and get to know each other.  This annual event is held at the Fairfield Senior Center located at 100 Mona Terrace in Fairfield and will begin at 10:00am.  There will be games and activities, as well as a picnic lunch.  This event is free to attend.  Each participant must arrange their own transportation.  To register visit dayinthe-sun.com/.

Aqua-Aerobics will begin on Wednesdays in October from 6:15-7:15pm at the Darien YMCA.  Participants must sign up by contacting Gerard Gasparino at (203) 324-9258 ext. 3023 or email gasparinog@arict.org.

The ARI Artists’ Initiative Class will continue on Thursdays in October from 3:00-5:00pm.  Participants will be able to work on their artwork.  Class will be open to all interested.  Please contact Gerard Gasparino for more information.

Men’s & Women’s Night Out will take place on Tuesday, October 17th from 5:30-7:30pm.  Catch up with old friends over dinner at a local restaurant.  The cost of dinner will be no more than $25.  This month’s night out will take place at the Tony’s on Summer Street in Stamford.  Please contact Gerard Gasparino for directions.

The 65th Anniversary Celebration will take place on Friday, October 27th at The Waters Edge at Giovannis in Darien, CT.  The evening will include dinner and dancing.  For more information see the attached flyer.  RSVP with payment by Thursday, October 12th.   

The Stamford Symphony Concert will take place on both Saturday, October 14th at 8:00pm and Sunday, October 15th at 3:00pm at the Palace Theatre.  Tickets are free for this event.  If you are interested in attending either concert please contact Gerard Gasparino by Monday, October 9th.  ARI will not provide transportation to this event.
