Bingo Night will take place in the ARI Cafeteria on Friday, July 9th from 5:30-7:30pm. Refreshments will be served including pizza, and prizes will be awarded! Cost: $5 per person. Please RSVP by Thursday, July 8th.
Bowling will continue at Rip Van Winkle Lanes in Norwalk each Saturday in July at 12:00pm. The cost is $3.25 per game and includes shoes. After bowling the group normally goes to lunch at a nearby restaurant (optional).
Golf with Challenged People in Motion will continue in July, taking place on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30pm at Sterling Farms Golf Course. Golf is free to attend and open to only past participants. Golfers will learn how to play the game and will be treated to an awards party at the end of the season. All participants must attend each week. For more information, please contact Gerard.
Gourmet Cooking Club will take place on Tuesday, July 6th from 2:30-4:30pm in the ARI Cafeteria. The class will learn skills to cook foods from various parts of the world. The cost to participate is $5.
An Ice Cream Social will take place on Thursday July 29th from 6:00-7:30pm in the ARI Cafeteria. Come cool off and enjoy an ice cream for $3.00. Sugar Free ice cream available.
Men’s & Women’s Night Out will take place on Friday, July 23rd from 5:30-7:30pm. Catch up with old friends over dinner at a local restaurant. The cost of dinner will range from $10 to $20. Please contact Gerard Gasparino for the location of the restaurant.
We will attend the New York Mets baseball game vs. the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday, July 27th. We will depart from the ARI parking lot at 5:00pm for the 7:10pm game. We will return to Stamford at approximately 11:30pm. Cost: $30 per person, plus spending money for snacks and souvenirs. Please RSVP by Friday, July 9th.
Special Olympics Bocce will begin in July on Thursday July 8th and 22nd from 3:00-4:30pm and on Saturday July 17th and 31st from 10:00-11:30am at Scalzi Park. For more information please contact Gerard
